Embassies in Uzbekistan - foreign diplomatic missions

Uzbekistan is a very friendly, peaceful and hospitable country. On August 31, 1991, the Republic of Uzbekistan officially declared independence. Less than a year later, on March 2, 1992, the Republic was admitted to the UN, which allowed the country to enter the international level as an equal partner. Uzbekistan was officially recognized as an independent state by more than 100 countries already in the first year of independence, which declared their readiness to officially support friendly relations in the spheres of culture, economy and politics, as well as tourism. At the moment RUz maintains official relations at the diplomatic level with more than 150 countries. There are 45 representative offices of different states in the Republic itself, where all necessary consular services are provided.

Embassies in Uzbekistan

Embassies of foreign countries in Uzbekistan are located in Tashkent, the capital of the Republic. They represent a representation of another country in RUz, where foreign citizens of these countries can receive legal and other assistance and support. In embassies you can get help in legal difficulties, resolve international disputes, obtain passports, etc.

Embassies and consulates, first of all, represent the interests of their citizens on the territory of other countries. They help tourists and businessmen in unforeseen situations, resolve international disputes, as well as help restore documents in case of their loss, issue visas, and provide other services.

Below you will find a list of all consulates and embassies of foreign countries located in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent. There is also a delegation of the European Union in the Republic. You can learn more about the work of embassies, their working hours, reception hours and other things from our specialists.
